Whether you are local to the East Valley or you live in another state, you can get involved in a variety of ways. Here are some of those ways you can participate in shining a light on teen violence.

  • Show Us Your Orange.

Preston’s favorite color was orange. Therefore, we ask that you embrace orange in your daily life by wearing orange clothing (specifically on Mondays), using orange light bulbs in your exterior lighting at home, putting up orange ribbons in the community, and more.

  • Adopt-A-County Road

We are looking for volunteers who want to be involved in our community efforts to clean up the section of road from Gantzel and Empire to 1 mile south. This is all being done in memory of Preston.

Event dates and times will be posted as they are determined. Watch for announcements and sign up to volunteer with us.

NOTE -Volunteers must be 13 and older. Only 20 people max can volunteer per clean up.

  • Attend a Council Meeting

We have seen the difference it makes when our community shows up and speaks up at local town council meetings. Check our calendar for the next meeting and join us, wearing your orange, of couse!

  • Support a Fundraiser.

There are plenty of opportunities to support the #Justice4PrestonLord mission for justice. Many generous businesses are donating portions of their sales to the Lord family. Check out the fundraising page to find out more.

  • Walk with Us.

Every month we take a walk together to remember Preston and remind the community that his life mattered. We walk for awareness, community, and justice. Details for our walks together are posted on the Events page.

PLEASE NOTE: Our regular walks to honor Preston will be switched out with monthly activities through the summer months due to the heat in Arizona.

  • Be a Proud Upstander.

There are plenty of opportunities to show your support of our mission and make your Upstander status known. We have a variety of items available for purchase which include, but are not limited to t-shirts, sweatshirts, yard signs, bracelets, stickers, and more. Links for those items can be found on our website.

  • Donate Directly via gofundme

A gofundme account is set up as a fundraiser for the Lord family. If you prefer to donate directly to them via gofundme, please click the link below.
